Continuing Education

Seminars

All of our respiratory courses are approved by the AARC for Category 1 Continuing Education (CE) credit. Our Radiology Review is approved by the ASRT for Category A CE credits. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion showing the number of credits you have earned. Keep in mind that you must attend the entire seminar in order to receive your certificate of completion. Our courses have been approved for CE credit as follows:

On-Demand Courses (Non-Traditional CE Credits)

We currently have one On-Demand Video course for respiratory. CEU approval has been applied for and is currently pending with the AARC. We do not yet know for how many CEU hours this course will be approved. Once officially approved, you will be able to receive the credit even if you made your purchase before approval was finalized. A proficiency exam will be provided to you once the the CEUs are approved. You will need to receive a score of 72% or better to pass the proficiency exam and receive the CEU credits.

HomeStudy Courses (Non-Traditional CE Credits)

Most of our respiratory HomeStudy courses are approved by the AARC for Category 1 “Non-traditional” Continuing Education (CE) credit. Please note that our on-demand program is currently not approved for CEUs.

To earn the CE credit, you will be required to take a short proficiency exam (usually around 25 questions). Access to the proficiency examination will be included with your HomeStudy license key. A certificate showing that you have earned the HomeStudy credits will be emailed to you once you receive a score of 72% or better on the proficiency exam.

Since AARC approval is granted only one calendar year at a time, you must take and pass the CE Proficiency Exam by the end of the calendar year in which you receive your HomeStudy in order to guarantee that you will receive a certificate.

Our HomeStudies have been approved for the following credits:

*Please note: Category 1 "Non-traditional" CE credits are not accepted in every state. The term "Non-traditional" signifies credits earned outside a typical classroom setting, such as self-study courses. Some states only allow a certain number of credits to be earned outside the classroom. You will need to check with your state licensing board to verify acceptance of or limitations to the use of “Non-traditional” hours toward your CE requirements.
